Meet Jodain.
Building from Botswana. Thinking beyond borders.
I’m Jodain — founder and builder behind JodainEmpire, where SEO, websites, automation and AI come together to help businesses attract customers and turn more of those opportunities into action.
I'm Jodain.
My name is Jodain — a rare variant of the name Jordan, which is commonly associated with the meaning “to descend” or “flowing down.” For me, that meaning carries something deeper. As a Christian, the name Jordan has always held significance because it was the river where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. So Jodain isn’t simply a name I chose because it sounded good. It carries a connection to faith, identity, and a story that means something to me.
I’m a digital Builder, SEO enthusiast, entrepreneur, and AI automation developer from Botswana. But before any of those titles, I’m simply someone deeply curious about how things work — people, technology, business, ideas, and perhaps most importantly, myself.
The person behind the builder
Outside technology and business, I’m fascinated by the things that make us human.
I’m a chess player, and chess has influenced the way I think. I enjoy the quiet battle behind the board — calculating possibilities, recognizing patterns, sacrificing something in the present for something greater later, and understanding that sometimes the strongest move isn’t the most obvious one.
.
In many ways, I approach life the same way.
I’m drawn to philosophy because I don’t like accepting things simply because they’re commonly accepted. I enjoy asking why.
Why do people become who they become?
What gives life meaning?
What makes a person good?
How much of who we are is choice, and how much is circumstance?
Why do we suffer, and what do we do with that suffering?
What does it actually mean to build a meaningful life?
Those questions have taken me far beyond business books and technology.
One of the writers who has influenced the way I think is Fyodor Dostoevsky. His work fascinates me because he didn’t treat human beings as simple characters who are either good or bad. He explored contradiction — ambition and humility, faith and doubt, freedom and responsibility, love and suffering.
Reading Dostoevsky made me more interested in the complexity of the human mind and in the uncomfortable questions that most people would rather avoid.
And perhaps that’s one reason I’m so drawn to building things.
I like difficult problems.
Not because I always know the answer, but because I enjoy the process of searching for one.
books and technology.
Why I build
I’m driven by the belief that I don’t want to simply consume what other people have built.
I want to build.
I want to take an idea that exists only in my head and turn it into something real.
A website.
An AI agent.
A business.
A system.
An idea that becomes useful to another person.
And I’m building all of this from Botswana, with the ambition of creating something that isn’t limited by where I started.
JodainEmpire is still growing. I’m still learning. There are still technologies I don’t understand, businesses I haven’t built, mistakes I haven’t made yet, and questions I haven’t answered.
But that’s part of the journey.
I don’t want my story to be about someone who had everything figured out from the beginning.
I want it to be about becoming.
Becoming more capable.
Becoming more disciplined.
Becoming more thoughtful.
Becoming someone capable of turning ideas into reality.
And ultimately, building something that outlives the version of me who started it.
This is Jodain.
And this is the beginning of JodainEmpire.
The Journey
SEO
Where it started — learning how search engines work and how websites earn visibility.
Web Design
Learning to build websites that don't just look good, but convert.
Copywriting
Understanding how words move people to act.
Digital Marketing
Widening the lens — traffic, campaigns, affiliate marketing, attention.
Automation
Realizing that attention without systems still leaves opportunities on the table.
AI Agents
Building intelligent systems that can actually do the work, not just describe it.
JodainEmpire
Where every stage of the journey comes together into one growing business.
What happens after the customer arrives?
A business can have traffic. A beautiful website. Social media followers. Advertising.
But if enquiries are answered slowly, leads are forgotten, bookings are handled manually, customers ask the same questions over and over, and staff spend hours on repetitive tasks — the business is still losing opportunities.
That question is what led me toward AI automation. Not because it sounded impressive, but because it solved something real.
From Learning to Building
At some point, I stopped wanting to just learn about AI, and started building actual systems with it.
n8n
Where I connect systems and build automation workflows.
AI APIs
The intelligence layer behind the agents I build.
Webhooks
How systems talk to each other in real time.
Google Calendar
Turning enquiries into scheduled bookings.
WordPress
The foundation for client-facing websites.
Elementor
Where design and structure come together.
Automation Workflows
Turning repetitive tasks into systems that just run.
AI Agents
The systems that do the actual work — answering, qualifying, booking.
What I'm Building
These are examples of the intelligent systems I’m currently developing.
AI Receptionist Agent
An AI-powered receptionist that communicates with customers 24/7 — answering questions, sharing pricing and availability, collecting details, qualifying leads, and capturing booking enquiries.
Problem it solves: For businesses whose enquiries go unanswered outside working hours.
Sales & Ads Agent
An AI system that helps with marketing and sales activity — generating ad content, headlines and CTAs, organizing leads, assisting with follow-up, and analyzing campaign performance.
Problem it solves: For businesses that generate leads but struggle to organize and follow up on them.
WhatsApp AI Booking Concierge
An AI assistant that lets customers ask questions, check availability where connected, share their details, and move through a booking workflow — all inside WhatsApp.
Problem it solves: For businesses whose customers already prefer messaging over forms and calls.
Technology should do more than look impressive.
I want to build systems that solve real problems.
I believe automation should save people time, not add complexity. I believe AI should improve the customer experience, not replace human relationships unnecessarily. And I believe technology should create leverage — letting a small business operate with the kind of systems that used to require a much larger team.
Built in Botswana. Designed for a bigger world.
Botswana is where this journey is being built — where I’m learning, testing, and shipping real systems.
The internet gives me the ability to learn from anywhere, build for anyone, and work with businesses well beyond my immediate surroundings. I’m starting local, because that’s where the real problems are in front of me — and building toward something that can serve businesses internationally.
Botswana → Global
